Behind the camera

My name is Kensi and I am a self taught, 26 year old photographer based in Tucson, Arizona. I married my extraordinary and goof of a husband, Josh in 2021 and we just bought our first kitten together. Her name is Chopper and she is our little menace to society. 💛

My photography journey started in November of 2021. It began with product photography for a local Tucson beauty brand and after some initial lessons from a coworker, I jumped head first into the medium. I soaked up different techniques and overtime built my own style that I became incredibly proud of. Desperate to learn more, I took classes outside of work and entered the world of editorial photography. My husband bought me my very first camera our first Christmas together and we’ve been on this crazy journey since.

Being able to create and share stories visually has always been a major part of my identity as an artist. This has allowed me to explore many different mediums including: webcomics, graphic design, social media + email marketing, some animation, and now photography!

My biggest goal when you book a session with me is to help tell your unique story in a compelling, natural, and authentic way. My sessions are a safe and comfortable place for all bodies and identities.
